  1. Margaret Fuller was born on May 23, 1810 in Massachusetts. She lived with both her parents and her siblings. Her father taught her while she went to different schools. When her dad died her family was in a financial situation and she had to take the responsibility as a teacher for the younger children in the house. Margaret is known as one the most important woman of the 19th century. She if famous for her work in journalism, criticism, and philosophy. She is also the first major feminist (belief in the social political and economic equality of the sexes) manifesto (public declaration of principles or intentions). 2. Answer To Quote

Margaret Fuller who's borth name is Sarah Margaret Fuller Ossolic was a journalist and, critic and womens right activist who was involved in American Transcendental movement. Her quote "If you have knowledge , let other light their candle in it" makes me think about a birthday cake. When someone lights one candle on the cake, most of the time they pick up the other candles and light it in that one candle. This means that you should share the knowledge you have with everyone so that they are just as intelligent as you.
